Six Impossible Things...Count Them (OPEN)

AmyBeth was out and about, that much was sure. What she wasn't sure of was what she was doing out here at this time of night. She was able to handle herself, which she knew very well.

Out on the streets of London normally wasn't safe at night but then again she wasn't normal. With the classic favorite book 'Alice in Wonderland' in her hands, she smiled as she walked and said out loud [maroon]"6 Impossible Things..."[/maroon]

As she walked she heard someone walking behind her, catching up to her. Whoever it was, she knew there was more than one and they could move...fast. At this time she was ready for combat.

Where was her sister when she needed her most. Why did Marybeth have to be in the States right now when Amy needed back up, needed help. There was no one she could call. The other slayers were all busy on their own with slaying these blood suckers.

With her daggers in both her hands, her bow and arrows thrown over her shoulders as she waited for what was coming her way. [maroon]"Count the 6 impossible things, AmyBeth."[/maroon]

As the shadows appeared, Amy knew there was more than three...more than she could handle. Thats when she began to count [maroon]"One, Vampires exist."[/maroon] she said as the shadows became shapes that became faces. [maroon]"Two, Vampires can survive in sunlight...against the legend of course."[/maroon] she continued stating as the vampires came closer.

All were male, and from what she could see, there were more than she could take on her own. Once again, where was MaryBeth when Amy needed her most. Mary always vanished when it was going to get bad and something was going to happen. Lovely sister she had.

Once they were ready for attack she knew she wouldn't stand a chance, let alone live. They were vampires, and she was a slayer but she still couldn't live past six vampires.

[maroon]"Three, Pure Bloods can reproduce."[/maroon] she told herself as the men came closer. First vampire that touched her she knew the fight was on. She didn't waste any time. She cut his arms off using the daggers in her hands, seconds later.....his head was off, he was dead.

[maroon]"Four....come on AmyBeth....."[/maroon] she said as she dodged the next vampire. However he had a friend whom pinned her against the wall. Mind you, Amy didn't like that too much. She growled as she kneed him in his family jewels. Even if he was a vampire, that was going to hurt and give her the chance to get away. [maroon]"Four, guys can get beat by a girl!"[/maroon] she said then ran for her bladed fans. As soon as she had them, she cut off his head. [maroon]"Two down....four to go!"[/maroon] she smirked.

Once she heard the growl of his friends she laughed [maroon]"Was that a friend of yours? Did I hurt your feelings? Aww poor babies. I'm sure you mommy would help you. But let me guess. I killed her too didn't I?"[/maroon] she asked. That had to be the reason they were here to begin with.

[maroon]"Five, I can beat and kill the rest of you....and live."[/maroon] she said as she flew at the other man whom had tried to attack her. Killing him and leaving 3 more with her. [maroon]"Wow. you guys are fading fast."[/maroon] she laughed as she collected her fans and daggers. She placed her fans in their pockets and placed the daggers inside their cases.

[maroon]"Come now...is that the best you can do? My twin sister can do better than that. She would be more of a challenge than you. My grandmother would make you seem like babies. They would make deadlier vampires than all of you...before I killed the other three."[/maroon] She laughed, clearly seeing she was upsetting them.

That’s when Nicholai stepped between the other two vampires [green]"But we are pure bloods. They were merely created vampires to serve as our tools.”[/green] he smirked as the three of them cornered Amy. [green]"Now you will join them."[/green] he said backing her up against the alley wall.

[maroon]"Six...I'm going to live through this."[/maroon] she said as she set her fans free and flew them at the two on Nicholai's sides. She gasped in surprised when she saw she cut their heads off. Nicholai growled at her as she felt his hand on her throat.

Before she could do anything he cut her arms and her legs, letting her blood fill the air. [green]"You smell......mouth watering."[/green] he laughed as he saw her struggle. [green]"Goodbye, foolish girl..."[/green] he said as he raised his hand up to strike for the kill.

At the last second she managed to move a bit, getting her hands to the daggers and allowing them to cut Nicholai's arm. She opened a vial and poured a bit of red think liquid on his wound [maroon]"Dead man's blood. Something you pure bloods can't stand."[/maroon] she said barely able to stand. But as any hunter would do..she stood her ground.

Just when it seemed to start again, Nicholai growled and told her [green]"You won't live next time we meet girl!"[/green] he said then fled away. Now hurt and weak, Amy fell to the ground. She couldn't move. She couldn't even stand. She was now alone...finally. But now she was alone, weak and vulnerable. Now anyone could come get her and she couldn't do a thing. She knew right then...she was going to die

[Remy-Antoine Mariot]

The buzz of the alcohol was a pleasant weight in his stomach, something to distract him from the fact that he had been dragged so far from his home in Hungary on some ridiculous business that would probably accumulate to nothing of merit, as per usual. If nothing else the English did have fucking fantastic pubs, and it was true that Mariot enjoyed the pleasant buzz of life the city offered, but there was the added problem of having to be alert all the time. England was not his beloved Magyarország, and London wasn't the soothingly dark corridors of the Mariot family home, where he would often spend many an afternoon drinking by an open window at night.

Purebloods made do, though, and Mariot would be no exception. He couldn't be, as the head of his particular line, a change brought about by the sudden murder of his own father at the hands of the Van Helsing agents so many years ago. Razael had ragged on him for weeks until he had assumed his official responsibilities, his face quickly become the new facade of the Mariot family. He stopped going by Antoine soon after, adapting his surname as his primary means of identification. As someone used to people saying his given name anyway--except Razael when he was miffed about Mariot's behaviour--it hadn't been much of a change.

The bottle in his hand was feeling more lightweight by the second, and Mariot had to suppress the irritated scowl that threatened to flicker across his face. As it was, he instead ducked into an alleyway, swishing the bottle in front of his face before he quickly downed the rest of it and chucked the empty glass into one of the dumpsters, uncaring of what happened to it afterwards. Likely one of the humans with their servants would clean it, as they usually did, and who was Mariot to deny them their jobs, anyway?

Razael would likely frown if he were to hear Mariot's thoughts, his aristocratic features twisting into an unpleasant frown that brought shadows across his face, but Mariot didn't much care. Razael was, after all, back in their hotel room, likely pouring over some reading material or another, wrapped in one of his ridiculous black shirts while his lord and master traipsed around London's shady alleyways.

Honestly, Mariot would have to fire him when he got back--that just wasn't good friendship.

The thought brought a smile to his face and he shook his head, pushing thoughts of Razael's dark eyes from his mind before he stopped suddenly, his body seizing on instinct as he scented bloodshed, the sounds of a scrimmage reaching his ears. Quietly, he waited, the scent of blood getting stronger, and when his nostrils were assaulted with the stench of old blood he couldn't quite contain the hiss that left his mouth, though he was quick to back into a shadow when someone rushed past him, holding a part of his body like he was injured. Raising an eyebrow, the pureblooded vampire moved forward, though he bared his teeth in a bitter smile when he noticed a young woman splayed on the ground, and even from the shadows he could tell she was weak; dying, quite possibly, with her weapons around her, and that there was no one around to help her.

A fitting end, he figured, for a member of the Van Helsing agency.

And yet...

"Well, this looked dramatic," Mariot murmured from his position in the shadows, his voice tinged with bitter cynicism, as it usually was. "Not your average attack, though, looks like." His lips pulling into a sneer that exposed his teeth, he stepped out of the shadows, nudging one of the bodies with his foot before he snapped his head to the fallen girl.

"That was probably one of my kinsmen, you know. And yet here they have followed their prey like Achilles once pursued Hector, and ended up much the same way as that golden hero."

He reached down, running his fingers though one of the puddles of blood on the ground, frowning at it.

"I hope you intend to clean this mess up. That is, if I let you live through the next five seconds."

[Tracy Danielle Leighton]

Tracys head snapped up as she heard the threat from a few blocks over and rushed to see who needed help.
"You wont touch her!" Tracy growled and threw the bottle of rum to the side, and drew her draggers as she went and stood between the girl and the male.
" Youll have to get thought me first." Tracy then looked over her shoulder at the girl " You ok, did he hurt you ? Tracy asked
Tracy turned her head back to the male in question " Why would you hurt her again ? Cnat you tell by the scent and the scene she was only defending herself you ignoramious." Tracy sighed thinking why me.

Tracy walked towards the male " What makes you think vengance is the answer, cause it never is." Tracy quipped.
Tracy drew one of her daggers ready to defend herself and the girl if she had to.
"If you can you might want to run ." Tracy called to the girl.

[Remy-Antoine Mariot]

The new "threat" announced herself with an ill-devised screech in defence of her fallen comrade, one that would have made Mariot wince at the sheer shrillness of voice had he not been pleasantly buzzed with the alcohol in his system. Even in such a state, however, he was a force to be reckoned with, and as a pureblooded vampire he was still more than capable of giving them a fight they'd remember, should he so choose. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how geared they were) for them, he wasn't in the mood to fight, and really Razael would have chided him for even considering the motion. They could not afford his life when there was no other vampire of direct Mariot blood who could take over.

Logically, if worst came to worst he knew that Razael was more than capable of heading the clan, but the other vampires wouldn't accept him without a fight, and blood would be shed before they realised they had no choice. Besides, they couldn't afford another war in the circle of purebloods. They needed to appear united in the face of their threats, that was one thing Mariot knew for sure. He may have been a relative oddity in the vampiric circles (a pity, that, apparently) but no one could ever accuse him of being unintelligent. Except for that one time. This, however, this was decidedly not that one time, so it did not count.

The Mariot's only response to the girl's mini tirade was to raise an eyebrow, his eyes flickering boredly as she alternated between trying to assure the safety of her friend and trying to appear threatening to him. It didn't work--he had faced indefinitely more terrifying things--but he supposed it was semi-admirable for her to try.

"If vengeance isn't the answer," Mariot told her, "then the entire Van Helsing cause, built on vengeance, is completely moot, is it not?" He shrugged, as if their little cause meant nothing to him, though he couldn't help the wryness that had entered his tone, and nor could he prevent his mouth from curving into a caustic smile. "Of course, you probably enjoy that little tidbit of hypocrisy, don't you?" A small laugh bubbled from him then, and he shook his head, casting his eyes towards the darkened alleyways before raising an eyebrow and side-stepping the hunter quite pointedly.

"And please, don't insult my intelligence by just claiming your friend was 'defending herself'. Your entire operation is based off of slaughtering creatures for no reason other than they're not human. You're hardly a defenceless organisation, and as such, you are not worthy of the mercy that might have otherwise been shown you."

He laughed again as the new girl told her friend to run. "She's slumped against an alleyway, bleeding out," he pointed out helpfully, and though he made his tone a bit more innocent sounding the scathing, belittling edge never left it. "If she could run, she would have when she saw me. But to answer your earlier question: I would hurt her because she hurts my kind, and by extension me as well. You Van Helsings, so sorrily self-righteous--I pity you when a true adversary steps onto your path and you find out that hypocritical morals and pointy objects aren't enough to save you."

[Tracy Danielle Leighton]

Travy spun around and looked at the girl "YOUR A VAN HELSING AGENT?"Tracy cried..
She closed her eyes got her beqrings together and spun and met the guy head on "And as for being a Pure blood ...hey welcome to my wolrd casue im one too ....good greif can you imagine ME being a Van Helsing agent HA thats a little to funny." Tracy retorted as she put away her daggers.
" Heck i didnt know she was one of "those"." Tracy shuddered as she walked past the man.
"DO whatever sorry to be a bother and yeah just to let you know your the first pureblood other than my parents i ever met so yeah im not much for meeting other paranormals." She stood there just looking at him and thinking to herself he's pretty dang cute.
Tracy stood there kinda sheepish and just waiting for this guy to start telling her off like her dad used to when she did something stupid.

[AmyBeth Jessica Winters]

AmyBeth sighed as she listened to the two of them bickering. The man, the one who was about to kill her, was mellow whereas, the woman, who randomly came in, wasn't so calm. [maroon]"Are you two done yet. My gawd, you're more annoying than a couple of girls."[/maroon] she said as she sat herself up against the building.

When the girl, named Tracy, asked, very loudly, if AmyBeth was a van helsing, Amy smiled [maroon]"Of course, I'm one of the highest ranked in the Order. Don't you know. My gawd, you must be sheltered or something. You poor damned creature."[/maroon] she said, trying her best not to sneer at the look of both disgusting vampires here, watching her.

She attempted to stand, and found that she couldn't. Growling, she sat back down and sighed. She wasn't scared, she knew the risks of being what she was, but she still hated that she was shure that she was going to die.

[Tracy Danielle Leighton]

Tracy was taken aback" YOu sure you wanna talk to me that way when im basically the only thing standing here that could stop him from killing you?" Tracy asked the girl.
" And yes before you ask I can beat you I'm Tracy Leighton and even though i've ben somewhat sheltered I have been trained to defeat whatever comes my way and to know each and every weakness of EVERY species." Tracy calmly pointed out while looking at both the man and the girl with her arms crossed and a raised eyebrow."
Geez Tracy thought they think im acting like a child? Tracy shook her head "I'm so sorry i was trying to save you." Tracy pointed out in a calm voice and sighed deeply and rolled her eyes "I hate to point out the obvious hun but " as Tracy approached the girl Tracy took off her leather calf length coat to reveal al leather body suit with a purple corset "I'm SO not a girl im all woman thank you very much and my voice isnt shrill thanks my voice gets like that when im annoyed and wel....l i kinda was." Tracy explained as she threw her jacket over her shoulder and walked past the guy hoping to forget this night
