Autumn wasn't exactly shure what she was doing here. In fact, she knew she shouldn't be here. It was breaking the treaty, that her land made with...well it didn't matter. This land wasn't exactly listed on the treaty her parents made.
Sometimes, Autumn hated having a dragon. Lara wasn't easy to find, in fact, she was damn near impossible. But, that was the reason she was in Dinsel. She knew Lara fell here somewhere. Autumn should have been on her, making shure she was safe, but instead, slept in late and when she woke, Lara was gone.
She looked around, but this was the last land near her to look. She didn't know that this was Dinsel, until she saw a few of the people. They weren't like her at all, these people were elves. Autumn knew they didn't care about the fighting between East and West Prydein.
She was looking around when she bumped into someone "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to run into you. I'm looking for someone..." she said then stopped as she looked at him. Without him saying, she knew he was a dragon rider, like herself. Or...part, there was something else he was.

Nathan was out on a walk in his town. Everyone was busy doing something or another. Nathan went to find Savannah he had not seen her at all today. He knew she was okay if she was still in town. The thing was for some reason he could feel her. If she was in danger he would know, if she wasn't feeling good he would also know it.
Right now everything was calm. So he wasn't worried about her too much . Nathan just wanted to know what she was up to. If she was not causing any trouble then he would leave her be. If she was about to get into trouble he would redirect her with something else.
He did know he had feeling for her, actually he was in love with her, but couldn't say anything. He didn't even know if it was possible for dragon to love outside their species.
These feeling had to be buried away and soon. If anyone found out he was in love with his dragon he wasn't sure what would happened to him or to Savannah. He actually didn't care what happened to him, he just wanted Savannah to be safe.
He was walking towards the woods when he bumped into someone. He stopped to see if whoever had or whoever he bumped into was okay. "It's fine. Who are you looking for?" Nathan asked her. He could tell she was a fellow Dragon Rider. Of course he was not going to say it out loud just in case it came off as rude to her.

Autumn wasn't really paying much attention to much else, besides finding her best friend. Where did she end up. Tabby was always running, because she didn't like to fly, but Autumn knew that Tabby was around here somewhere. And besides, they were the best of friends.
When she ran into the boy, she smiled at him, trying to say she was sorry for bumping into him. She started to speak the language she was learning from her new village, but changed to where they were, the land of the elves.
"My drag--friend. She ran off, it's like a game to her. So, I wanted to find her." here in this land, she had no clue what they would do to a tamed dragon. Dragons who were tamed, couldn't be returned to the land, else they would be shunned.
"What about you? What are you doing here? Are you okay?" she asked, he looked like she was a few minutes ago, in a complete daze.

Nathan had a feeling the young woman was a bit distracted. He didn't really mind. He was a bit of an outcast here. Only his adoptive family really talked to him along with Savannah. Nathan didn't want Savannah to get hurt, but also he didn't want to crowd her either. There was something in the air, he couldn't tell what it was, but he knew he had to be ready for anything thrown his way. Everything he had done was to prepare himself for anything which came up. If there was an invasion or something close to it he was ready to fight. He would not let his home go without a fight. No one was going to take his home away from him.
When she answered him, he knew she was talking about her dragon. Who knows maybe their dragons were hanging out together. It wouldn't be the first time Savannah hung out with other dragon in human form. "I'm also looking for a friend of mine. I just want to make sure she is okay." Nathan told her. Once he saw Savannah and she was okay then he would leave her to have time to herself.

Autumn smiled as he talked. He seemed nice, but she wasn't shure what he was. "My friend is big, so I'm not shure how she was able to run from me."
Autumn loved Tabby, but Tabby was like normal dragons. She had no human form, just a dragon form. It didn't mind Autumn one bit! She loved her dragon, as much like a sister as if they were related by blood.
Coming back to the present, Autumn shook her head "Well, you might want to be careful around here. I have to sneak my way around so I don't get hurt..." she admitted, blushing a bit. Normally, she was in a safe area, however, she wasn't shure about this place. After all, she was in the land of the elves, so she had no idea what was waiting for her here.

Nathan knew he was talking to another Dragon Rider. I was nice to talk to some who did what he did. He did not know wither or not if she knew what he was exactly. Nathan looked at her with a raised eyebrow. So she had a dragon as well. Nathan knew Savannah would be in human form. They knew the dangers of her being in dragon for in certain part of the lands. He knew this place was okay. "So, she does tend to get away from you every now and again. Maybe she just wants o be free to do what she wants." Nathan said as he heard what she had said and saw her blushing. "Don't worry about it. You'll with me. No one is going to bother you." It was true. Not to many people wanted to deal with him, but he was fine with that.

Autumn looked at him like...well like he insulted her. It wasn't nice that he thought Tabby wasn't happy. In fact, Autumn gave Tabby more than many chances to get away from her, but Tabby just stuck with her. Which was fine by Autumn, after all, the two were best friends.
"Just because she can sometimes get away from me, doesn't mean she wants to leave me. If she wanted to leave me, I wouldn't ever stop her." and it was true. Tabby was free to do what she wished, and that was the way Autumn liked to keep it...
Then it clicked, "Why are you here? This is the land of the elves....so what purpose do you have here?" he knew that Autumn was searching for her friend, but what was his purpose of being here?
In Dinsel, it was a bit dangerous. Elves weren't as understanding as normal creatures in the Realm of Faerie. Elves were normally mean, if you got on their bad side....run...

Nathan looked over at her. He saw the look on her face, he realized that he had offended her. Of course he really didn't meant to that exactly. He wasn't around too many people and he wasn't sure on how to be around other people. He had lived here all his life. He of course went out when he needed to, but other then that he stay home. "Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. Okay…guess I should be more careful with my words." Nathan said, as he saw a few of the other elves eyeing him. It took him a second to realized she wanted to know why he was here She didn't realized what he was. "I am here because it's my home. I know it is the land of the elves. I am Half Elf and Half Dragon Rider. Does that answer your question?"

Autumn was surprised by his words. He said he was sorry, and for that Autumn was happy, but how was it that a dragon rider had a son who was also part elf. Weren't the species nearly against each other. After all, Autumn knew she was getting looks from other elves.
[maroon]"You live here?"[/maroon] she asked as she looked around. Were they looking at her or at him, she couldn't tell, but one thing was for shure, and that was she wasn't happy with everyone looking. [maroon]"Well, I have to search for my friend. Do you want to go with me, where we won't get looked at like we have a tail..."[/maroon] she told him, as she smiled at him.
Just then, Tabby made a sound, that was close to a cry, and Autumn gasped. [maroon]"Is there something here that can hurt her?"[/maroon] she asked, looking at him before grabbing his hand and running off to the source of the sound.

Nathan wasn't use to others being as nice as Autumn was to him. The other elves had looked at him wondering why he was with someone who didn't mind being associated wit him. He really didn't care what the others thought of him. Right now he just wanted to make sure Savannah was okay. He had a feeling she would be with Tabitha. "Yes, I live here. This is my home." Nathan told her. He didn't know anywhere else. He was sure there were other places to live, but this had always been his home. It would always be his home like it or not. "Sure I will come with you. I have a feeling Savannah is going to be with Tabitha. Don't worry I am use to all the looks they give me."
He heard the noise. It wasn't good. He didn't want anyone to get hurt. He was going to protect any dragon, in dragon form or in human form. Before he could answer her, she grabbed his hand and took off running on the direction of the cry. If Savannah was hurt in any way whoever cause her pain would pay. The dragons in human form didn't deserve to be treated any differently then regular human beings.

Autumn was happy that he was going to help her, but really she was more concerned about Tabby's welfare. What could have happened to her best friend? "So, Savannah? What is she like?" she asked. She talked about Tabby, but Nathan had yet to mention much about this Savannah. What was she like? What was she exactly. He talked about her once, and she seemed to be someone that really mattered to him.
As they were walking, Autumn thought of the time she first saw Tabby. Tabby was flying, when she fell down because someone shot her down. Her wing was broken for a few weeks, but thanks to Autumn, she was able to fly again. It was a wonder the two got along, because Dragons normally didn't get along with Dragon Riders. But, Autumn and Tabby were different. They were more than Dragon and Master, they were friends.

Nathan hoped Savannah was okay. He wasn't going to let anything happen to her as long as he could. He knew there were something he wouldn't be able to protect her from. For those he would be there for her for whatever the repercussion were. For him, she was his best friend. They talked about everything with each other, well almost everything. He could let her know about his feeling for her. It wouldn't be right. Nathan heard Autumn ask what Savannah was like. "Savannah is a great in both forum. We do have a connection to one another. We talk about everything. She knows when I am down and I know when she down. If she need time alone she will let me know. Savannah always knows my mood. I know hers. We are more like friends then anything else." Nathan told Autumn, he hoped what he shared with her wouldn't get out. If other Dragon Rider knew of their friendship then they might separate them. He didn't want that to happen at all.

Autumn smiled "Don't worry, I understand how close a dragon rider can become to their dragons. Tabby and I are close, almost like sisters. She helps me, I help her. Not many people understand that, which is why we are normally in hiding. Her kind hate me, for me being what I am, and in exchange, my kind hates her for being so close. So, we left the land of the Dragon Riders. I'm currently living in the land of the Dragons. But Shhh! You can't tell anyone.." she giggled and continued walking.
"I understand how you feel though, I mean, I don't fully understand, but I have an idea. She isn't just a dragon to you. And, seeing as how she can have two forms, she must be of noble blood, according to the books I've read on dragons. It is an odd gift, to take two shapes."

"I am glad you understand," Nathan said, as they continue to walk along side of Autumn. She did explain that she and her dragon Tabby were close. He didn't doubt that. He as glad he had someone else who knew about being a Dragon Rider. He wasn't surprised when she said she was living with the dragon. "I am sorry to hear that. Yes she is like a person to me not a dragon to me." Nathan admitted. It was more then that, but he was not going to say way he wanted to say out loud.
